1991 Hilux Pickup 4-Door 3L for sale...

Hey guys - first, thanks to everyone at ToyotaDiesel for hours of fascinating reading!

I adore this truck but I need an SUV for work (I'm thinking an L400 Delica Spacegear). It will be available near the end of March. Truck and I are currently in Fort McMurray, Alberta, but I'll be in Calgary when I'm done and can deliver anywhere. Will consider trade for a 1994 Delica Spacegear. It's right-hand-drive, but it only takes a day to get used to.

You're right about lowballs. Since I can't seem to figure out how to edit my post, I'll say that I'm asking for $12,000 or best offer, with delivery extra.

If I don't sell it before May I'm driving it to Mexico for a wedding, so I can deliver it anywhere.

Since you are in the USA it would be an EXTREMELY hard sell for you, this truck is only available in Canada (excluding Mexican or overseas buyers). It is not importable into the US until it is 25 years old. Check the regs.

Ridgerunner - Thanks for the offer but I don't want to end up with too many vehicles. I did pass your post on to someone else who might be interested, though.

Placerminer - It's true you're not supposed to import these into the States, yet. I don't want to encourage anyone to try to skirt the law. I do know some people have mentioned in the past wanting to import these trucks for off-road use, or to swap enough parts over to make them legal. Since I'll be in the states anyway this summer, I could conceivably deliver it.

The other day while it was parked outside, a water truck backed into it and f#d up the bumper and front quarter panel, so now I have that to deal with. Sigh.
